I love my iPod...over the years I have transitioned from one iPod to another and today I own a mini (never got the nano), a video iPod and an iPhone. We also have an intercom system through our house and several years ago we designed and began producing a product called the dockaPod. This product is a built in dock that allows you to connect your iPod to your intercom system and play music from your iPod all through your house. About a year after we began selling the dockaPod we were contacted by Apple and asked to change the name...seems the "Pod" and "dock" ifringe on their trademarks. That just left us with "a" for a name. So we thought of a new name for our product. We were actually happy to change the name because we felt a little privileged to have been recognized by Apple as a competitor in the market.
Today you can buy the same product under the name iPod Music Interface, or as we call it, the iMi. Because of demand we have also designed several other options for using your iPod with an intercom system. Please check out our page of iPod options.
